From Possibility to Freedom: The Workbook by Stephon Guidroz

Give your thinking somewhere to go.

A product to choose. A price to check. A market to learn from. Bring the decision in front of you to the page.

Think through a decision

Work through a real question about your product, customers, or costs. Put down what you know—and notice what you’re still assuming.

What do I need to find out before I commit?

Record what you learn

Write down what customers did, what sold, and what it cost. Keep those results alongside your earlier thinking so you can see what changed.

What actually happened at this test?

Decide what comes next

Use what you’ve learned to choose the next useful move. That might be a smaller test, more research, or a change to the product or price.

What is the next decision the evidence supports?

Before your first test

Don’t just read it.
Work through your own idea.

Have a few products in mind? This worksheet gives you a way to compare them before choosing one to test.

  • List up to three ideas.Get the options out of your head and onto the page.
  • Look at what each one needs.Consider customer potential, costs, production, transport, and storage.
  • Notice the gaps. The scores help show what’s strong, weak, or still based on an assumption.

You’re choosing a first test—not what you have to sell forever.

Reality Check Worksheet 2 · What Is the Market Telling You?

After a real customer test

What did the market actually tell you?

Pick one recent product test or selling event. Record what you were trying to learn, then compare that question with what customers actually did.

  • Name the test.Write down the product, date, location, and question you wanted answered.
  • Record the results.Note units available, units sold, price, and what was left over.
  • Look at customer behavior.Questions and purchases give you more to work with than compliments alone.

Keep the details while they’re fresh. They’ll help you decide what to test or change next.

Use it as you go.

You can use the workbook while exploring an idea, preparing for an early market, or reviewing a business you’ve already started.

It works alongside the main book. Read the chapter for the explanation, then use the matching Reality Check to work through your own choices.

  • Leave room for what you don’t know.Write down what still needs research or a customer test. You don’t have to fill every blank space today.
  • Keep your earlier answers. They give you a record of what you believed, what happened, and how your thinking changed.
  • Come back when you have more evidence.Sales, actual costs, customer conversations, and event experience can change your answer. That’s part of the work.
